LG announced the presence of new Android smartphone. Named LG Optimus Sol, the handset is planned to be marketed first in Europe in mid September 2011. LG Optimus Sol still use single core processor 1GHz Snapdragon second generation, 512MB RAM, 1500 mAh battery, and rear 5 MP camera with no flash and autofocus will work with the Android operating system 2.3 (Gingerbread). The interface is the same as the previous series Optimus. Micro SD 2GB is provided in the starter pack.
The plan, Optimus Sol will be formally introduced in Europe in mid-September, followed by other countries in Latin America and South America. Unfortunately, the LG did not want to divulge the price range for these devices.
