ZiiLABS which is under the auspices of the chip manufacturer Creative Technology decided to join in the fun tablet market, one of which will launch 10-inch tablet model is supported by a dual-core or quad-core processor. It seems ZiiLABS choose to apply kustomibilitas when developing Android 3.x 10-inch tablet.

Unlike other companies, ZiiLabs tablet device is not planning to enter the market individually designed, which means that this project is not directly intended for OEM retail market (this tablet has a modular motherboard design.)

We will see the tablets are not using Tegra processors 2, but the chosen are the Jaguar platform, with a choice of either dual-core and quad-core processors will be available. Looking at the clock speed is 1.5 GHz processor Jaguar, this makes a total possible speed above 6 GHz.

Some say, a 10-inch model (7-inch also available) will have a LCD with a native resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. Up to 64 GB of storage will be incorporated into, along with 2 GB of DDR2 or DDR3 RAM (random access memory).

Furthermore, SDHC card slot enables the additional storage, while the 5-megapixel webcam capable of recording high-quality media (HD webcam overlooking the front used for video conferencing and the like).
Other specifications include Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0, accelerometer, GPS, stereo speakers, dual microphones and broadband (3G, 4G, and even possibly WiMAX).

"JAGUAR Platform combines our deep understanding and experience of working on consumer devices and tablet with our processor ZMS, reference platforms, software, certification and knowledge to provide a platform of state-of-the-art that minimizes the complexity in introducing generations of tablets." OEM who are interested may be pleased to know that ZiiLABS can send samples of tablets.
