Sony VAIO Z Series, Ultra Portable Notebook with Power Media Dock

Sony has launched in the market of portable VAIO Z Series notebooks are the lightest in the world for the category of 13-inch notebook that uses a standard voltage CPU. VAIO Z has a mild case of sleek aluminum and carbon fiber has a 0.66 inch thick and weighs 2.5 pounds.

One of the main features of the VAIO striking and new is the Power Media Dock system. When paired with the supplied dock, Sony Z Series turned into a main workstation and can display the output of up to four full HD screens.

Without Power Media Docknya, the Sony Vaio Z is relying on Intel's latest HD 3000 Graphics to handle graphics and performance would be sped away when using the Power Media Dock.

Power Media Dock is a docking station that includes a graphics card AMD Radeon HD 6650M with 1GB of dedicated memory, a slot-loading optical drive and offers three USB ports (one USB 3.0), HDMI and VGA ports. The slim VAIO Z is powered by Intel Core Sandy Bridge 2nd generation Intel processors and i5 i7 with standard voltage Intel Turbo Boost which has a clock speed of up to 3.40 GHz, and supports memory up to 8GB of dual-channel RAM and SSD with RAID.

Vaio Z notebook also has a built-in support for Intel ® Wireless Display and supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and mobile broadband as optional. Blu-ray drive, 1080p Full HD screen is also available as an option.
