Twitter v1.1 for BlackBerry Smartphones

Research in Motion (RIM), As a leading provider of BlackBerry service in the world, has released Twitter version 1.1 for BlackBerry users. this application, can be downloaded via Blackberry App World.
With the interesting features of this application will allow BlackBerry users to connect to social networking twitter. 'BlackBerry Beta Zone' users have been testing the past six months about this application... wait a minute, What is BlackBerry Beta Zone? BlackBerry Beta Zone is also known as a software testing laboratory owned by Research In Motion (RIM).

one of the most interesting features on Twitter 1.1 is:
  • Tweet Location.
With this feature allows users to determine their own location and put it in their tweets. really cool ..
This feature is very easy to use, just by pressing the Menu>> Options>> Add Location To Tweet and then save the changes. after 'Tweet Location' feature is enabled, users will see a new compass icon that appears next to the photo icon below the Tweet box. If the 'add location' feature is enabled, users can view the location of people who followed the map in the application. So, with this application the user will know the location of another user who submits tweets.



How Its use was also very easy because, users can select the icon to add the location. And the BlackBerry will soon determine the location and automatically add it to every new Tweets submitted. Meanwhile, to disable this feature, users simply select the icon again.

  • Push @Mentions
Push @ Mentions feature allows its users to receive notification every time they mentioned on Twitter. Thus, users do not bother to see the latest tweets that mention them.

  • #Topic Autocomplete
#Topic Autocomplete is display a list of keywords based on the previous words that have been tagged in Tweets dihash, Retweets, or in other words the selected / searched in Hot Topics, as well as in applications like Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones.
