Motorola Atrix 2, aka Edison, the most striking change from the old model is on the design and at least to our eyes looks much better that also looks thinner and taller than before.
Another major change reported was that the display no longer uses a matrix layout of the screen PenTile Atrix, but use RGB layout is superior and commonly used. Screen size and resolution remain the same at 4.3 inches with a resolution of QHD.
In it, Edison is running on a 1GHz dual-core processor TI OMAP 540 with the PowerVR SGX GPU and 1GB of RAM, just like in Bionic DROID. There is also the 8GB of internal memory with microSD card slot.
Motorola Edison has an HDMI port on the side next to the USB port and works with a dock made for Atrix WebTop first edition. Edison worked only on the HSPA network, however, and not on the network newfangled LTE AT & T. Edison also has no fingerprint scanner found on Atrix. This smartphone will run on Android 2.3.5 with a very mild version of the Motorola Blur.
