Sony has introduced the first external hard drive is Sony HD-PG5. This external hard drive works as a USB device as a general storage, but provides a number of special features for a variety of Sony devices.
Users can record HD video directly from their Bravia TVs, transfer video files directly from Sony's Handycam camcorder without using a PC, or play videos and photos through the console Sony PlayStation 3.
